Yet, it seems like one of K-Pop’s hottest stars might have just revealed their first tattoo, and it’s none other than Blackpink‘s Lisa.
Since debuting in 2016, Lisa has always gained attention for her visuals; as she’s matured, her style has adapted to that. Whether she is at an event, on stage, or just hanging out, her style is unique and reflects her personality, and she can definitely be seen as badass AF!
On March 1,Harper’s Bazaar Singapore released teasers of Blackpink’s Lisa as she’s set to grace the cover of their magazine.
As expected, the idol looked flawless in all the photos posted as she radiated truly diverse vibes, ranging from 60s vintage to Y2K music video vibes. Whether it was Lisa pictured for the cover or the editorial, there was no denying how stunning the idol looked.
Yet, one photo stood out the most and had the internet in meltdown.
In a close-up cover shot, Lisa looked absolutely ethereal in a beaded-pink number combined with simple accessories and what looked like a captain’s hat. Combined with the makeup and hair styling, it just seemed perfect.
As BLINKs zoomed in, they were shocked to see a small and delicate design just above her ribs, which looked much like a tattoo.
Although YG Entertainment was known for its strictness on tattoos, Blackpink has worked hard and would be given more freedom.
So, when the photos were posted, it wasn’t surprising that netizens believed they’d spotted Lisa’s first tattoo, and they didn’t hide their shocked reactions. Many even shared predictions on what the tattoo could be, with heartwarming ideas.
Yet, it isn’t the first time a Blackpink member has sent the internet into a meltdown by teasing a tattoo. At the end of 2022, while Blackpink were on tour for their Born Pink shows, member Jisoo went viral as many thought she’d revealed her newest tattoo.
