They’re celebrating their eight-year wedding anniversary.
And footballer Steven Gerrard has whisked his wife Alex off to Ibiza, Spain for a romantic holiday to mark the special occasion.
The Liverpool FC legend, who will link up with new club LA Galaxy next month, hit the pool without his stunning partner on Tuesday, displaying his muscular physique in a pair of navy swimming trunks.

Steven caught the attention of several fellow holidaymakers around the pool, sending female sunbathers into a fit of giggles as he flashed his six pack and sculpted upper body.
The 35-year-old sportsman was also given a warm welcome by several football fans, who looked delighted to meet their idol.
There was no sign of Alex as Steven topped up his tan before meeting up with his glamorous wife for the evening.

Steven has also taken to Instagram to share a sweet snap of him posing alongside model Alex, the mother of his three daughters Lilly-Ella, ten, eight-year-old Lexie and Lourdes, three.
‘Married 8 years today happy anniversary babe’, he wrote.
Alex, 32, also posted a special shout-out to her partner and ‘best friend’ Steven on Twitter, writing, ‘Happy Anniversary to my husband @SGF08 looking forward to spending it with u #bestfriends’.

The glamorous blonde recently revealed that Steven constantly showers her with compliments and has been impressed with her recent fitness regime.
‘I’m always dead critical of myself… but I do feel good at the moment,’ she told Closer.
‘I’ve got a lot more a lot more definition that I thought I’d ever have, I’ve definitely noticed the difference most on my stomach and my legs.’
