Last week I wrote about the watch collection of Tom Holland, the star of the MCU Spider-Man films and one of the younger celebrity watch collectors I’ve featured on Wrist Enthusiast. In doing my research for the Holland article, I noticed another young up-and-coming actor that also had a pretty nice watch collection: Holland’s Spider-Man co-star and romantic interest, Zendaya. Zendaya’s collection is fairly diverse ranging from Rolex and Patek Philippe to Cartier and Bulgari.
From my research I was able to find that Zendaya owns at least two Rolexes. The Euphoria star has been photographed wearing a classic 36mm two-tone Rolex Datejust with gold dial, diamond indices and factory diamond bezel (Ref. 126283RBR-0003). This Datejust currently retails for $20,550 USD.
Since the publishing of this article, we have spotted Zendaya in another Rolex (in September 2022). This time she is seen wearing a classic steel Rolex Daytona Ref. 116500. Her boyfriend Tom Holland also happens to own this timepiece, so it’s not clear whether they have been seen wearing the same exact watch or not. I’m sure if both Zendaya and Holland wanted their own steel Daytona, they could afford it. The Daytona Ref. 116500 retails for $14,550 USD.
Like her beau Tom Holland, Zendaya also seems to have an affinity for Cartier timepieces. Like Shiv Roy on Succession, Zendaya has been spotted wearing the Cartier Panthère. Zendaya has been spotted out and about wearing the steel Cartier Panthère. The quartz Panthère was first introduced by Cartier in 1983 and has since become a classic. The Cartier Panthère currently retails for the relatively affordable price of $3,350 USD.
Like Shiv Roy, Zendaya appears to have the gold Cartier Panthère in addition to the steel mode. If you like a watch enough why not get multiple variations of the watch? While the gold Panthère has the same quartz movement as the steel version, it retails for a much pricier $19,700 USD.
One of my favorite pieces from Zendaya’s collection is definitely her Patek Philippe Nautilus. She has been recently spotted making her rounds during her Spider-Man: No Way Home interview tour wearing a 35mm Patek Philippe Nautilus 7118/1R automatic in 18k rose gold. The dial on this unique Nautilus has a silvery opaline “wavy stripes” dial, making it much more unique than the typical Nautilus. This piece has not been immune from the recent rise in prices for Nautilises. It retails for $47,600 USD but is currently selling on the secondary market for around $95,000 USD.
While Zendaya has been regularly spotted wearing multiple different watch brands, she has been a brand ambassador for Bulgari since February 2020. As a result of the collaboration, Zendaya has been pictured not only wearing Bulgari jewelry, but also a few of their timepieces. My personal favorite Bulgari that Zendaya has worn is the Bulgari Octo Roma. This watch is a pretty large 41. You can pick up the Bulgari Octo Roma directly from Bulgari for $6,800 USD.
In addition to the Bulgari Octo Finissimo, Zendaya has been photographed wearing the 35mm two-tone Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas. Named the Serpenti because the unique wrap-around bracelet and dial resemble a snake, or serpent, the watch has a very high fashion feel. The Bulgari Serpenti is a piece that can be dressed up or down and really is a piece of jewelry in addition to being a functional watch. While the Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas retails for $13,800 USD, you can pick one up on the secondary market for about $11,000 USD.
The final watch, and final Bulgari, I will feature from Zendaya’s collection is the two tone Bulgari Bulgari with diamond indices (Ref. 103067). The Bulgari Bulgari has been around for 40 years and is unique in that the name of the brand is engraved twice on the bezel. This design element seems to be somewhat divisive among collectors, with some thinking it is loud and obnoxious and others liking the creativity. The two-tone Bulgari Bulgari with diamond indices retails for $8,450 USD.
