Hollywood mega celebs Tom Holland and Zendaya officially broke the internet last year when papped footage revealed the Spider-man: Homecoming stars canoodling off-screen while stuck in traffic in Los Angeles.
Then, a few months later, the duo stopped the presses once again when Holland confirmed their relationship in an interview with British GQ.
Now, it seems as though everyone’s favourite celebrity couple of the moment may have taken their relationship to the next level.
According to The Mirror, the actors, both 25, have purchased their first home together, mere minutes away from Holland’s childhood neighbourhood of Kingston upon Thames in the United Kingdom.
Located in the posh inner-city suburb of Richmond, the couple’s new home is a five-bedroom abode that’s rumoured to have set them back a substantial $5.7 million.
And, while exact details about the property remain scarce, we do know that Zenland’s (is that their couple name?) new home is already having some serious work done to it.
Speaking with the Mirror, a source close to the pair said that Holland wanted his new digs to have superlative security and some other features that make us think he wants to build a replica of Tony Stark’s basement garage.
“Tom has made it clear he wants hi-tech security all around the premises, starting with an 8ft steel security gate on the drive. He was also very specific about his man cave and the cinema room,” the source said.
The source added that the actors would likely move into their new home once the work, which is thought to cost around $500,000, is completed around the middle of this year.
It’s not Holland’s or Zendaya’s first dabble in the property market, though – both thespians have already been caught in high-end real estate’s particularly enticing web.
In 2017, news broke that Holland had splashed millions on his inaugural property, which happened to be a three-bedroom apartment also close to where he grew up in London.
Zendaya, on the other hand, went down the more traditional Hollywood actor route, purchasing a sprawling estate in the Los Angeles locale of Encino for roughly $5.75 million in 2019.
Whatever the couple’s new home looks like, they’ll need to be sure it’s in a secluded and private part of town, because they are certifiable paparazzi magnets right now.
