The beginning of 2023 hasn’t been easy on Marvel star Jeremy Renner, who suffered a near-death experience near his ranch while reportedly trying to save his nephew from his snowplow. Following this accident, which led him to lose an extensive amount of blood and break several bones. The Hawkeye actor explained that he was assured that he wasn’t going to make it out alive from this situation.
And while recalling his experience after this traumatic event, the actor wasn’t able to hold back his tears. As he was assured that he was going to die in the Hospital and was already writing down his goodbyes.

After getting crushed by a 14330-Pound snowplow, which led him to suffer, “Eight ribs broken in 14 places. Right knee, right ankle broken. Left ankle broken. Right shoulder broken. Face, eye socket, jaw broken. Lung collapsed”. Jeremy Renner explained that he wasn’t sure if he was going to make it out alive.
While speaking with Diane Sawyer, the Hawkeye star teared up while recalling that painful moment and shared that he was already writing goodbye notes for his family during his time in Hospital. Renner said,
“I’m writing down notes in my phone to — last words to my family.”
Although the actor is now finally on the verge of getting better and is set to mark his first press since the accident on 11 April. The Mayor of Kingstown actor explained that if it wasn’t for his nephew he wouldn’t be alive right now.

In his interview, Jeremy Renner further credited his nephew for being able to make it out alive after the traumatic event. The actor explained that during the incident, he was able to feel his bones getting crushed by the snowplow and stated that if his nephew didn’t arrive with help in time, he would have been buried six feet under right now. He said,
“If I was there, on my own, that would’ve been a horrible way to die. And surely, I would’ve. Surely. But I wasn’t alone — I was with my nephew. Sweet Alex. And the rest of the calvary came.”

But despite all the suffering that Jeremy Renner had to endure, the actor doesn’t regret his choice. As he expressed that he wouldn’t shy away from putting his life in danger again if it meant saving his loved ones’ life.
