At the beginning of the season, Klay Thompson’s play drew significant criticism, and many questioned whether he would ever be able to play as well as he once did.
Thompson has dismissed those concerns in some style as he finished as the league leader in three-pointers made and he fired a shot at his doubters after their win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

“It’s cool to lead the league in threes made,” Thompson said. “Something I never did before. It’s a testament to my hard work over the last few years, some dark times have turned into some beautiful moments. I’m usually right about things I say. People might not want to give me credit, but it’ll usually come true.”
Charles Barkley was just one of many who felt Klay isn’t the same anymore and Thompson had emotionally responded by saying he just needs some time to get back to his best. He clearly was right, as he finished the season by averaging 21.9 PPG on 41.2% shooting from beyond the arc.

He also became just the third player to make over 300 three-pointers in a season after Stephen Curry and James Harden, finishing at 301. He deserves a lot of praise for how he has bounced back after two major injuries and Klay will now be looking to play a bigger role than he did last season, in order to help the Warriors retain their title.
Klay Thompson Believes No Team Can Beat A Healthy Warriors Side In A Series
Klay has been talking a lot more than usual this season and his latest bold claim was that no team can beat the Warriors in a seven-game series if they are healthy. The Warriors have struggled a lot this season, by their standards, but throughout all of it, they have remained confident that they can make a run in the playoffs.
The first obstacle in their way toward retaining their title would be the Sacramento Kings, who have had a great season and it is sure to be a fun series. The Warriors are starting off as the favorites and Klay would be hoping to put on a show and lead the Warriors to the Conference Semifinals.
