When others might loose their cool, Zendaya Coleman has proved she’s happy to Shake It Up when she hit Disneyland with pals on Sunday.
The actress made the peace sign to photographers before getting drenched on the Grizzly River Rapids ride in California.
Proving she’s just a normal teenager, the 17-year-old looked to having a fun time with pals Trevor Jackson and her Dancing With The Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy.
Wearing a cute black and white top with the word ‘Misunderstood’ emblazoned across the front, the Disney star looked casual, finishing off her look with dark jeans.
At one point Zendaya is seen using her hands to shelter from the spray while sat next to actor Trevor, also 17.
The young star had sensibly opted to tie her hair up in a ponytail, before accessorising with bracelets and a chunky gold watch.
She’s not scared! The Disney actress looked a little glum during the ride, while sporting a top with ‘Misunderstood’ written across it
She later shared a snap with her Twitter fans of the group taking on The Hollywood Tower of Terror ride, which saw her jokingly posing with a shrug.
She wrote: ‘the notorious tower of terror pic lmao’, before wishing her sister a happy birthday.
Zendaya appears to have remained close to Val after the pair took second place in the dancing show in May last year.
The star has certainly been busy of late, not only releasing her self-titled album, but also a book Between U And Me, which gives advice to teens.
Keeping cool: Zendaya was also joined by her Dancing with the Stars partner Val Chmerkovskiy
Don’t forget to smile! Trevor, also 17, was sporting a black and green T-shirt as he sat next his pal
No fear! Zendaya didn’t look at all scared as she enjoyed The Hollywood Tower of Terror ride before sharing the snap with friends
The young star told Teen Vogue recently she tried to make negatives into positives.
She said: ‘The most important thing is to always think about the positive over the negative.’
Adding: ‘Our instinct is to think about the bad things happening in our lives, but at the end of the day it’s always more about the people who love you.’
She is also currently filming a new Disney pilot called Super Awesome Katy, after tweeting: ‘Having pre table read tomorrow for our Super Awesome Pilot…can’t wait to see everyone!! gonna get ’em all on twitter for u guys!’
High-Five: Val, who looked to be having a great time, took second place with Zendaya in the latest series of the dance contest
Family orientated: Zendaya, pictured at the American Music Awards in November, tweeted later that day to wish her sister a happy birthday
