Steven Gerrard has shared a sweet tribute to his daughter Lilly as she celebrated her 18th birthday on Wednesday.
The former Liverpool star, 41, took to Instagram to share an image of his stunning daughter during a celebratory dinner, after decorating their home with enormous 18 balloons.
Steven captioned his post: ‘Happy 18th Birthday Lilly I hope your day is as special as you are . We love you so much please never change.’

Ever the proud dad, Steven also took the chance to share some adorable throwback snaps with his eldest daughter, including one of Lilly as a baby during his Liverpool playing days.
The Aston Villa manager also shared a fun image of Lilly’s excited expression while he read a book to her.
Showing her appreciation, Lilly commented ‘Love you’ under Steven’s post.

In recent months Steven has relocated from Scottish club Rangers to Aston Villa, in the hope of saving the Premier League team from relegation.
After opening with four wins in six under Gerrard, Villa have struggled for consistency, with Steven recently saying he knows the team needs to look over their shoulder.
‘It is very easy in this area of the league to think you are OK,’ said Gerrard. ‘It is very easy to take your eye off the ball and become complacent, like we did last week.
‘We have to be extremely careful. We are 12th, not a position where we can disrespect any opponent and think we can just turn up.’
