We’ve heard many tales of people who have rescued dogs and cats and subsequently adopted them.
Although the adoption of two newborn foxes by a man appears to be a fantastic narrative, it is as genuine as breathing.
Patsy Gibbons, from County Kilkenny, Ireland, is an animal lover. He’s well-liked by the locals, not because he’s a movie star or anything, but because of his two strange companions, Grainne and Minnie, two foxes that accompany him wherever he goes.
Mr. Gibbons discovered the foxes when they were just a few weeks old, a few years ago. Because the animals appeared to be abandoned, the caring guy decided to take them home and care for them.
The foxes made a full recovery thanks to this Irishman’s efforts, and when they were well enough, the kind Samaritan chose to release them back into the wild. The foxes, on the other hand, had different ideas. They refused to return and instead chose to “adopt” Patsy as their fur child. Since then, they’ve been inseparable.
“I now get individuals calling me for guidance on how to care for foxes from all across the nation and even the UK,” Gibbons told The Irish Examiner. “I’m no expert, and I’m constantly learning from them on a daily basis, but as a layperson, I’m delighted to offer advice.”
Patsy lives with a variety of animals in addition to Grainne and Minnie. He also has 12 ducks, two dogs, two cats, and 28 chickens living on his property. Patsy claims that they all get along swimmingly.
