One of the biggest animals on the planet is the elephant. They are calm, tranquil, and slowly moving, making them gentle giants.
They can be anywhere from 6,000 and 20,000 pounds in weight.
Can you picture them ғᴇᴀʀing anything? With a simple stomp, they could effectively squash anything with their weight. But it turns out that they do have some worries. And the newborn goat that you’re about to see below terrifies an elephant baby.
Although many elephants face far more serious dangers in the wild, this small newborn goat is just enough to worry and confound this adorable young elephant. This young elephant in Nᴇᴘᴀʟ’s Cʜɪᴛwan National Park is totally at ease greeting people, but he hasn’t yet mustered the courage to make friends with another animal.
When the elephant calf sees a black baby goat approaching him while the visitors are enjoying his company, he shrieks and runs back to his mother as quickly as he can, leaving the goat perplexed as to what happened. Maybe this is the first time the elephant has seen a goat.
It makes sense that the tiny baby would be puzzled because it had no idea what the goat was. It seems like a perfectly logical reaction and a great strategy to be safe to run straight over to Mom or Dad’s protection. especially if your parents weigh thousands of pounds.
Let’s take a look at this hilarious and adorable moment in the video below:
