Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish moved into the property last year but not before his legal team had stopped sheep and cows walking through 20 acre garden
Manchester City’s £100m star Jack Grealish has ‘Silenced the Lambs’ at his new £5.6m country retreat.
The flying winger faced an ancient covenant on the impressive property. It allowed sheep and cattle across his 20 acres to reach land on the other side. But his legal team had the ancient right removed before the sale so that it cannot now be enforced.
The legally binding ruling had stipulated that “cattle, sheep or other animals” could moo-ve through Jack’s vast garden “by day or by night and for all purposes”.
The requirement stated: “Together also with full right and liberty for the Purchaser their heirs and assigns and their tenants and servants in common with the Vendor his heirs and assigns and the owners and occupiers for the time being of (name of neighbouring property) and their servants at all times thereafter by day or by night and for all purposes with or without horses carts carriages wagons and other vehicular laden or unladen to go pass and repass and to drive cattle sheep and other animals along over and upon the road or way shown on the said plan.”
City and England ace Jack splashed out a fortune on the imposing property in Cheshire last year. The seven-bedroom home has a fishing lake, tennis court, golf tee and green, vegetable plot — and enough room for a full-size footie pitch in its 20 acres.
And it has its own helipad. Winger Jack, 27, can entertain guests in a swimming pool, leisure suite, gym and wine store. There is even a cottage within the grounds where friends and family can stay if he runs out of room in the main building.

The helipad has inconspicuous landing lights, enabling guests to arrive by air at any time of the day or night. Before moving to City, the ex-Aston Villa star lived in a £1.75m six-bedroom detached house in a village south of Birmingham.
The England striker and girlfriend Sasha Attwood, 26, had been living in a rented flat in Manchester, which has a five-a-side football pitch on its rooftop.
