Tammy Abraham says that his old Chelsea pal Reece James has asked him to come back to the club.
The England international is well-known to the Chelsea squad having joined them as a boy in 2004 before leaving in 2021 after falling out of favour under Thomas Tuchel.

Abraham came up through the academy at Stamford Bridge, before breaking into the side whilst Frank Lampard was in charge.
The striker was part of the same academy team that included Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori, Callum Hudson-Odoi and James.
And the right-back is a close pal of Abraham’s, who has admitted has told him to return to Chelsea one day.
“Just before I left Chelsea, [Fikayo] Tomori went to AC Milan and we talked a lot,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.
“I remember the phone calls, none of us could believe what was happening. We had been at Chelsea our whole lives and in a moment we were walking away.
“Everything I knew was Chelsea apart from a few loan moves, but even now I think it was the right time to leave.

“I was ready to take a step forward in my career, I didn’t want to be considered a youngster or a player who had just come from the academy. It was time for me to spread my wings.
“I still talk to so many Chelsea players, James always tells me to come back.
“We grew up together and have known each other for years – players like [Mason] Mount, [Declan] Rice and [Eddie] Nketiah.”
Chelsea are in need of a striker having struggled hugely in front of goal, scoring just 36 times in 35 Premier League appearances.
Abraham had been linked with a return with Mauricio Pochettino set to become the club’s new manager.

The 25-year-old finished Chelsea’s top scorer in his breakout campaign in 2019/20 before falling out of favour under Tuchel, where Kai Havertz was preferred up top.
Despite not being a main part of the German’s squad, he would still help the Blues to the Champions League title in 2021.
Romelu Lukaku would go on to join, forcing Abraham to leave for Roma but the Belgian has failed to impress, leaving just a year later on loan to Inter Milan.
