On Wednesday, Conor McGregor opened up about his mourning process following the passing of his canine companion, Hugo, and shared his sentiments with his followers.\
The 33-year-old MMA superstar shared a bevy of sweet photos with his 42.7 million followers of himself bonding with his late pooch.
The fighter said he was ‘so heart broken’ over the loss of the animal who had accompanied him through much of his rise to fame.

Hugo seems to have been a regular workout partner for Conor, as they were shown together on runs in several photos.
The sweet dog also baby sat his three children, including Conor Jr., four; Croia, two; and Rían, five months.

Hugo was docile enough to let the children care for him, and Conor Jr. had him on a leash as they went for a walk with Croia in a cute snap.
