Though the new Wonder Woman film, Wonder Woman 1984, will not be released until June 2020, small reveals are already being made.
Earlier in June, the film’s director Patty Jenkins revealed the superhero’s new costume that will be featured in the film and announced that the film would not be at San Diego Comic Con this year.
In a social media post the director released a poster for the film that shows Gadot in a skin tight, metal clad long sleeve and full pant body suit. This outfit is a more fight ready outfit than the strapless skirt ensemble she sported in the first film.
‘By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year,’ she tweeted. ‘We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…’ Jenkins said.
Gadot also shared the image and added ‘We are so excited for what’s to come, so until then here’s this little gift from us to you.’
