Fans are gearing up for the opportunity to buy a pair of shoes designed by both Adidas and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The two-time Super Bowl-winning star is one of the hottest names in sport right now and brands know that anything with his name on it is going to sell quickly.

Fans also know this, which is why they are desperate to get details of the shoes and when they may be available.

Patrick Mahomes’ partnership with Adidas

Adidas have a huge deal with Mahomes and the relationship between brand and athlete appears to be extremely strong.

They already have several designs of the Mahomes 1 shoe, with this footwear proving very popular.

“Dominate from the first down and control the game like a true MVP, as Patrick Mahomes shoes have a sturdy and responsive feel to let you make plays all game long,” is how Adidas describes the products they’ve built with the quarterback.

Adidas are becoming ever more ambitious with their plans and, with that in mind, Mahomes recently had a meeting with designers at Adidas over the latest product they will work on together.

A recent Instagram story from Mahomes, on which he shared a video from that meeting, has sparked speculation that a new shoe is on the way.

“New Mahomes specials dropping soon??” one Twitter user recently posted.

As was reported by MARCA earlier this year, Adidas have been doing all that they can to ensure they keep hold of Mahomes for as long as possible.

Adidas even gifted him custom-made trainers to commemorate the first wedding anniversary of the NFL quarterback and his wife, Brittany.

That gesture gained a lot of traction on social media and added to the image in fans’ heads of Mahomes and Adidas being side by side.

There have also been regular endorsement campaigns involving the German sportswear brand and Mahomes, but any date for a new trainer is yet to be officially announced.
