While wife Elsa Pataky is away, the actor lends a helping hand.
With his wife Elsa Pataky 17,000km away in Europe on a job, Chris Hemsworth was chatting to a string of ladies back home in Byron Bay.
The 36-year-old Thor heart-throb was on daddy duty for the couple’s kids – India, seven, and five-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan – when he was spotted lapping up the attention from two star-struck ladies in the street.
Ever the gentleman, a friendly Chris lent a helping hand, assisting the women as they dismantled clothing racks.
Chris and Elsa have built a reputation in Byron Bay for seamlessly fitting in with the local community.
Though the couple live in a multi-million dollar mansion and attend glitzy movie premieres and A-list events, Chris, Elsa and their kids have managed to remain down-to-earth.
The couple are often spotting doing the school pick-up run and earlier this year even got their hands dirty volunteering at a local school canteen.
In a video posted to Elsa’s Instagram in May, she and Chris could be seen wrapping up sushi rolls for the kids and storing them away in containers.
It’s been five years since the duo eschewed the bright lights of Hollywood to bring their kids up in Australia and live a more low-key lifestyle.
“Moving back to Australia was a very good decision for us,” Chris previously admitted of their decision to settle Down Under.
“I can be with people and talk about things that have nothing to do with the film business. That’s almost impossible in LA.”Scroll on to see the new pics of Chris Hemsworth mixing with the locals.
