EMMA Watson made a rare public appearance with her new beau Matthew Janney yesterday afternoon as the pair headed to Twickenham to watch the rugby.
The new couple, who have been dating for only a few months, looked relaxed and at ease in each other’s company as they made their way inside the stadium to watch England play Ireland during the Six Nations tournament.
Emma looked casual but cool in a pair of black skinny jeans and a khaki parka jacket, while 21-year-old Matthew looked effortlessly dapper in a quilted jacket and navy chinos.
Trying her very best to blend into the crowd though, Emma finished off her look with a black scarf and a pair of stylish Raybans as her Oxford-educated boyfriend escorted her to their seats.
The pair are said to have met through a mutual friend and were first spotted together in January, where they enjoyed a romantic getaway to the Caribbean together.
The pair looked incredibly happy as they strolled around the beach, hand in hand, showing off their trim and toned beach bodies.
And following the announcement of their relationship, Matt’s guardians admitted they were “thrilled to bits” with his new love interest, and gave it their blessing straight away.
Coralie and James Day, who have been Matthew’s unofficial guardians ever since his parent passed away, confessed that they give the romance their full support and couldn’t wait to meet the 23-year-old.
Speaking to the Evening Standard last month, 57-year-old Coralie said: “We are thrilled to bits that he is seeing Emma Watson. We are looking forward to meeting her soon.
“Hats off to her for finding such a wonderful young man. There is nothing bad anyone could say about Matt. He is absolutely lovely.”
And it sounds as though things might be getting serious between the couple, with reports suggesting that Emma has been looking at properties in New York to share with him.
The 23-year-old star was seen looking at flats at the end of last month, and according to the Daily Telegraph, she wants to ensure the pair have a “bolt-hole on the other side of the Atlantic.”
“It has apartments priced at up to $15 million [£9.6 million],” a source told the publication.
