At the moment, the Golden State Warriors are stunning the league. Despite the absence of Stephen Curry and Andrew Wiggins due to injury, the club has a 5-game winning run. Fans are anticipating what might happen when the entire team is back together because Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have excelled without Curry.
The Warriors are inconsistent without Curry, but when they hit, they hit big. This was proven in their thrilling win over the Atlanta Hawks that saw Klay Thompson score 54 points and Draymond Green dish out 11 assists. One of those assists is generating buzz on Twitter, as it was seemingly a ghost pass from Draymond as fans never saw him pass the ball.

As some of the tweets pointed out, it was most likely a bounce pass as Thompson was running over, which would mean that Thompson covered our view of the ball. Since it was a bounce pass, it makes sense why we don’t see the top of Draymond’s shoulder move, as he naturally tried to calmly give it up to Thompson instead of attracting help defenders by making an obvious pass.
How Much Longer Can The Warriors Keep Their Streak Up?
The Warriors haven’t looked extremely impressive this season with a clear gulf of talent between the starting 5 and the bench. Over this run, Steve Kerr has played his trusted players heavy minutes to keep them in the fight in the West. Being above .500 without Stephen Curry is an achievement but something they need to keep up until the star comes back.
They have favorable fixtures coming up with games against the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons before facing the tumbling Phoenix Suns, who are without Devin Booker. There are more wins to earn in this stretch, and hopefully, the Warriors can capitalize.
