Exoplanet KOI-3010.01 is considered habitable with a probability of 84% – Highest EVER

The Kepler mission discovered a planet orbiting the star KOI-3010 using the transit method. Researchers are drawn to this world because it has traits that are similar to those found on Earth.

The red dwarf KOI-3010 is 1213 light-years away from Earth and is found in the constellation Lyra. With a possible age of 13.9 billion years, this star is very old. A warm super earth is KOI-3010.01, also known as KOI-3010 b. (it is more than Earth on a mass, but it is much inferior to gas giants). Around 60 days on Earth are required for one orbit of the star.

Diagram illustrating Kepler’s discoveries as a function of mean stellar flux and the temperature of the star they circle with radii less than twice that of the Earth. The size of the planets is proportional to their estimated radii, while the green ring depicts the approximate boundaries of the habitable zone. For a larger view, click the image. (N.A.S.A Ames/W. Environmental factors have an impact on the origin and evolution of life on the planet. The temperature there is 19.6 degrees Celsius on average. 1.35 times as large as the Earth, the radius. They know relatively little about the composition of the atmosphere, but it does exist (there is an assumption that it is almost identical to the earth). The mass index hasn’t been established yet.

The scientists predict that the exoplanet KOI-3010.01 will have a liquid ocean covering around 65% of its surface in addition to a temperate temperature similar to Earth.

It is believed that exoplanets’ chemical make-up closely resembles that of the Earth. It is noteworthy that it is in the habitable zone and that it has an Earth-like index of 0.84. (maximum – 1). Researchers think she has a decent chance of having a life as a result.
