Hyderabad, Jan 11 (UNI) Telangana Chief Secretary A Shanti Kumari, who assumed charge on Wednesday evening, said ‘it is a proud moment for her to be appointed as the first woman CS of the state.
‘Speaking to media persons after taking charge at BRKR Bhavan here, she thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for appointing her as the Chief Secretary.
Shanti Kumari said that she would work in close coordination with the officials and public representatives to ensure that the flagship programmes of the state government, as envisioned by KCR, are implemented properly.
